Day in the Life - February

I'm following Ali Edwards lead this year and doing A Day in the Life to add to my Project Life albums the last day of every month.  However...as you'll notice in the photo below, February's spread says March 1.  Why?  Well...a certain little man deleted all my photos off my phone about halfway through the day on the actual last day of the month.  Oh well, I'm still counting this as February!

Highlights from today:

Sage thrilled to pack her own lunch with the leftover Lebanese takeout.  Rex comes to breakfast and Woody comes to snack time!  My parents got an iPad and now my dad and I have constant Words with Friends games going on.  The hideous house across the street got put into foreclosure.  My globe collection.

Spring has arrived!  It's so warm today that we didn't even need our coats in the sun.  First day of the year nice enough to jump on the trampoline and Jasper's first time ever on it!  I am so looking forward to lots of days spent outside watching the two of them play together.  As long as Jasper ever figures out how to walk on the grass that is.

Look what an exhausting day of playing with your baby brother can do to you.  Sage needed to lay down on the couch with a wet paper towel on her forehead!

I guess someone thinks that Daddy needs to give me more presents!  Geoff and I were talking in the family room when this little package slid into the doorway.  It reads "To: Sabrina.  Love Geoff".  Inside was a hair clip that looked suspiciously like one I already owned!

The first day of March Break.  Sage desperately wanted to make me breakfast in bed (which ended up being breakfast at the table!) and who was I to argue.  We had mini muffins and fruit salad.  Delicious!  Now if only I could teach her how to make coffee...

Sage modelling her new dress and the belt that she just had to have from Aldo!  I must admit she does look pretty cute.

Geoff had to work in London on Saturday so the kids and I went with him for the ride and to do some shopping.  Sage and I killed tons of time in Sephora trying all the different perfumes.  Naturally her favourite turned out to be the kind in the brightest pink bottle there was.

After Jasper finished his breakfast he decided to was going to go after some of those Cheerios and fruit that he had thrown on the floor and eat them after all.  Got stuck underneath the table while trying to do so.  Think how clean my house would have stayed if I had just left him there all day!!  It really was tempting.

Daddy and Daughter time doing her weekly math homework.  This assignment involved bingo stampers and making a symmetrical design.  For some reason it proved quite troublesome for the two of them to complete!

Dude I am just not feeling you.  Project Life that is.  This last week or so with everything we've had going on I have really struggled to find little moments about our everyday to enjoy.  I'm so tired of the drama...the insurance drama, the family drama, the drama my 18 month old now creates.

But here's to getting back on track.  A few quick photos snapped after school.  Sage made a bed for her dolls out of a box and Jasper decided it looked pretty comfy!  I tried to get a few in before he moved...as soon as he hears the snap of my camera shutter he is usually up and outta there.

Taken just seconds after a huge sneeze all over Daddy's head.  HA!  I love it when these things don't happen to me.  Once, just as Sage was about to get the stomach flu for the first time, she and I were cuddling in my bed and she threw up.  RIGHT INTO MY MOUTH.  So don't feel badly for Geoff getting his head sneezed on.

Not quite big enough.  Jasper desperate to go outside to play in the snow with Sage while Geoff shovels out the driveway.  For the 5th time this year.  He is not impressed.  I think this is the first year since we've been married that he's had to do it more than once.

Project Life 51/365

Sage all dressed up.  Wearing a suit purchased in Germany over 40 years ago by my parents when they were there on vacation.  This was worn by both my older sisters, myself, both my older nieces and now Sage.  When she outgrows it, it will be passed on to our youngest niece Delainey to complete the family saga!  I wonder if my Mom has pictures of the rest of us wearing it...hmm??

Project Life 50/365

This is Geoff's first contribution to Photo of the Day.  He's very proud of it.   He discovered a local company that sells all natural kits to make your own beer.  Now normally, he stays as far away from homemade wine and beer as possible.  Cause honestly, has anyone ever tasted any of that stuff that actually tasted good?  Us either.  This stuff?  Whole different level.  Plus apparently it's fun to make...I'll take his word for it!  This was his first batch...he has big plans for making a bunch of their other flavours.

This was his first bottle.  It must have been a hit because as you can tell, the bottle is empty!

We all went up to the hospital tonight after Geoff was done work to meet his brother's new baby!  Rex Romeo born on the 16th at 3:26pm weighing exactly 6 pounds.

I love tiny babies.  They stay were you put them!  Ah...those were the good old days.  He's so cute and tiny that it's making me want another one.

Sage has math homework come home every Monday and it has to be back every Thursday.  It consists of a bag with some type of game for us to play with her and a journal that she has to then draw a picture in and write a few lines.

This reads "My Mommy playing was fun.  I liked using real money."  She's a girl of many words but not when it comes to writing!

Made my first ever homemade pizza today!  Tasted great but the crust stuck to the cheapo pan I had.  Definitely want to invest in a good pizza stone.  Can anyone recommend one?

A quiet and tired day at home today.  Sage threw up in the middle of the night...on the one night that she had asked to have a sleepover in Jasper's room!  So of course he woke up while we were trying to clean up the mess.

We blew up balloons today and both the kids had tons of fun throwing them around.

I cannot stop Pinning.  I'm going back through all my inspiration folders on my hard drive and adding them my my Pinterest boards.  Then I'm looking at all the pictures everyone else has posted.  I'm obsessed.  Good thing Sage had a PA Day today cause this has taken up way too much of my time.
